Weever Apps for giving me the ability to stay local to my community.
Kiera Howe for always helping me with my technical issues and being there when I need her always.
And most of all to Adam Wills, our lead organizer for more reasons that I can mention, including helping to get me to where I am today.
I really want to thank everyone who came to see my presentation. I really had a fun time giving this one and look forward to the feedback on this new presentation. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this!
This time around, my good friend Matt Graham and I are going to try something different. We’re going to play a game.
Ever wonder how to properly give credit for something you are using? Not sure if you’re actually allowed to use it? Where can I find images to use? All this and more can be answered at our session, The Creative Commons Scavenger Hunt! Join us to win some (small, but good) prizes from north of the border! And for the record, be lucky I didn’t start talking like a pirate because I’m watching Pirates of the Caribbean as I write this post…
It’s been a while since I was at WordCamp Toronto and giving the talk in my old alma mater, the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. It was an amazing weekend and I hope to post some photos soon, though there weren’t as many as I usually take. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this topic and others. Can’t wait until the next one!
A big thanks to Matt Graham for inviting me to speak at the Durham WordPress Meetup last evening. I hope it was as enjoyable for you as it was for me. I’m glad that this started a great conversation and know that I will be making this presentation better in future. For those that haven’t seen this before, know that there were so many stories that go along with this presentation. Maybe, I’ll see you in person and I can tell you those stories.
