A big thanks to James Wilkinson and the FSTO team for giving me a spot on the B-Side to present my case study on subsidized housing in Toronto: An Affordable REST. Here are the slides that I will be presenting at 2pm on Tuesday in room 200c. I look forward to seeing you there!

This time around, my good friend Matt Graham and I are going to try something different. We’re going to play a game.
Ever wonder how to properly give credit for something you are using? Not sure if you’re actually allowed to use it? Where can I find images to use? All this and more can be answered at our session, The Creative Commons Scavenger Hunt! Join us to win some (small, but good) prizes from north of the border! And for the record, be lucky I didn’t start talking like a pirate because I’m watching Pirates of the Caribbean as I write this post…
It’s been a while since I was at WordCamp Toronto and giving the talk in my old alma mater, the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. It was an amazing weekend and I hope to post some photos soon, though there weren’t as many as I usually take. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this topic and others. Can’t wait until the next one!
Thanks once again to DevTO for having me speak at their monthly meetup. This time we were hosted at Pivotal Labs, and while the crowd was small, there was still great discussion. The video is below the slides. I’m also going to be delivering a version of this at WordCamp Toronto in a couple of days, so if you missed this one, I hope that we will see you there!
